Went Down to Georgia -- well, maybe impression
on lyrics was not the intention. 'twere the fiddlin'.
romantic and machine-gun Metallica, Fripp and Page
have occupied my serious enjoyment in Devil Music.
I don't find that Stones guy too believable. where
experiments in Death or Black failed, as yet (with
Lucifer's help maybe that will change) to inspire,
and I haven't heard much of King Diamond as yet.
Danzig will have to wait, as my fave grotesque
now is Communion Through Dreams of Reckless Sleep

some religious *do* have nations. worshippers of sky
gods might like being 'under God' too. universalists
or universe-gods might compel us to rightfully define
the God as issuing the laws of nature by which humans
may exploit and destroy all other beings with currency,
and thereafter compel us to obey and serve the God.

many suggest we are 'under God' (in hierarchy), managing
the Creation (a Steward, which I say deemed ourselves.
gardeners and zookeepers more like it. worse than a
parasite loving basely what it eats (because we are
despoiling and subjecting it to horrors unimagined).
swap out a Hell Bank God *or* an Earth Worship cult
and this might require a change to 'over God'.

disks of metal and paper bills sufficiently mark it as an
intellectual affair. add numbers and symbolism, legalese,
and signatures, pictures. perhaps the sky god intellectuals
are dominating the currency, blessed beast!

it isn't, generally, a pagan belief. it is, however, a part of the
belief of some indigenous cultures. some Taoists think that way,
for example.

that's right, it's still an anti-God and soul-Jailer Underworld Lord.
Christians, or those expressing from within a Christian cosmology
wrote those lyrics. Black Sabbath isn't Satanist, generally, but it
marks a certain turning point, with Ozzy Osbourne, of utilizing the
bogey for pop-media purposes. Alice Cooper took it much further,
followed, I'd guess, by Marilyn Manson. surely there are many
others which might be compared, divided along technique lines.
